  • Physiotherapy

    Our physiotherapist's have the skills to provide specialist assessment and diagnosis of your injury. An appropriate pathway will be chosen in order to return you to your prior function. That may include manual therapy techniques, soft tissue mobilisation, dry needling, strapping, gradual return to sports/activities.

  • Post op rehabilitation

    Our teams expertise lies in post op knee replacements, ACL reconstruction, meniscal repairs. However we also rehabilitate other surgical procedures such as shoulder reconstructions and ankle reconstruction.

  • Strapping

    Strapping can help support healing injuries and repetitive strain injuries and also prevent injuries from happening.

    Both of our physiotherapists have worked in sports environments where strapping is prevalent.

  • Dry needling

    Dry needling is available at Tamahere Physiotherapy. It is known to help reduce pain and promote healing.

  • Return to play sports plans

    Clear return to play guidelines will be given so you know when you will be back playing, generally based on return to play testing.

  • ICPMSK Pathway

    The integrated care pathway provides wrap around care for health professionals to work collaboratively with a patient centered approach.

    This contract is for significant knee, back and shoulder injuries.

    Tamahere Physiotherapy subcontracts the ICP contract through Active Health New Zealand.
